Price Guns & Labels

Pricing guns enable small and large retailers to quickly and easily label products with price labels. While there are many different types of guns on the market, most are used in the same way, with rolls of sticky labels and ink. They are handheld devices that can be used for pricing as well as stock control. Our kits are simple to use and provide smooth feeds. The guns are available in a one-line or two-line format, with a digit range of 6 to 8 per line.

The most significant advantage of using a pricing gun to price your items is mobility. They are small and lightweight, allowing you to change product prices without having to relocate your stock. The gun is held in one hand, placed over the item, and the trigger is pulled. This will dispense the label to the gun’s mouth. Simply place the gun on the product to allow the label to transfer and adhere to it.

In addition, our standard range of labels includes white and yellow sticker choices, but other colours are available on request. We can also offer bespoke labels with branding and special phrases pre-printed for larger quantities. Get in touch if you’d like to know more.

Last but not least, each gun prints labels using a roll of ink that is put into the gun. The ink roller does need to be replaced over time. Therefore, we also offer a replacement ink for all of our pricing guns. In addition, some of of price gun starter kits even include a replacement ink and a range of labels to get you started when buying your first gun.

What is a Price Gun?

Price guns are handheld devices that attach price labels to items. They make retail pricing quick and simple by printing labels effortlessly and efficiently. Our range includes Avery Dennison guns, which are renowned for being some of the best on the market.

There are many advantages to using price guns. First and foremost, they’re faster than manually marking up your products. These guns can quickly mark up hundreds of items in just minutes, saving you time that would otherwise be spent on manual labour. Secondly, the use of the same gun can create uniformity in our display and make it easier to read the price. Finally, using this type of device can reduce costs by eliminating mistakes caused by human error when manually writing costs onto a label.

Our price guns come in both single and double-label styles and are an effective way of labelling your items. The units we stock offer a digit range of 6 to 8 characters per line. Create your price on the display using the rotating lever, pull the trigger and place the gun on the item you are labelling. Once you remove the gun, the price label will be applied securely to the product.

Maintenance is an important part of owning a price gun. You’ll want to clean it regularly, replace parts as needed and troubleshoot any problems you might encounter. Thankfully, we also stock a selection of replacement ink rollers and labels for our guns.

We also offer a Price Gun Starter kit for first-time users. This kit includes 1 x CAS1/8 Avery Dennison price gun, 7,500 labels and 2 x replacement ink rollers.

Do you need Labels for a Price Gun?

Our price gun labels and ink rollers are great for pricing items in newsagents and gift shops.

Our range of Avery Dennison price gun ink and labels are high quality and easy to use. An Avery Dennison CAS1/8 price gun is ideal for those who would like a versatile price gun.

This is because it prints a variety of symbols and characters, allowing retailers to use it for stock labelling as well as pricing. In this section, you will find spare ink rollers and label refills. In addition, we supply ink rollers and price labels for the Avery Dennison Monarch 1131.

(how it works) We stock a variety of labels for a range of price guns in a choice of colours & sizes. The most popular colours are white and yellow; however, other colours are available upon request.

In addition to colour and size, one of the most important decisions when choosing your pricing gun labels is the application. Different adhesive types are often used for different purposes. For example, with most labels, you have a choice between peelable or permanent adhesive. Peelable adhesive allows the label to be removed, which is ideal for greeting cards or items that are intended to be a gift. On the other hand, labels with permanent adhesive are more difficult to remove. Therefore, this application should only be used when displaying important information, for example, “use by” dates.

How do you load labels into a price gun?

Loading labels into a price gun can vary depending on the specific model and manufacturer. However, some general steps apply to most price guns. Here is a general guide:

  • Open the price gun. Locate the cover of the price gun and open it. The cover might be on the side or the back of the gun, depending on the model.
  • Check the direction of the labels. Most price guns have an arrow or a diagram on the label roll that indicates the direction in which the labels should be loaded. Make sure you follow these directions to avoid jams or wasted labels.
  • Insert the label rollInsert the label roll into the price gun, making sure that the labels are facing the correct direction and that the roll fits snugly into the gun. Depending on the model, you might need to feed the labels through a guide or a roller.
  • Close the coverOnce the labels are loaded, close the cover of the price gun. Make sure that it snaps securely into place.
  • Test the gunTo make sure that the labels are loaded correctly and that the gun is functioning properly, test it on a scrap piece of paper or label.

We are always on hand to help you find the pricing gun you are looking for. Please Contact Us if you have any questions.
